Metabolic Stability in Liver Microsomes and Hepatocytes
ProtTech Analytical provides service in testing stability of drug candidates in liver microsome and hepatocyte in species of rat, dog, monkey and human. Liver microsome (20 mg protein/mL) and hepatocyte (1x106 cells/min) are freshly prepared before each experiment. Default drug concentration of 0.5 or 1 µM is used in the reaction. Positive control is used to ensure the success of each reaction. Default sampling time points are at 0, 15, 30, 60 and 120 min or at any time points requested by customers. Samples are analyzed by LC-MS/MS. Peak area ratios of drug candidate over internal standard at all time points are reported.
